James brings a unique professional background shaped by experiences in law, media, education, and community mental health. Throughout his career, he developed a deep interest in understanding people’s stories and the challenges that shape their lives, ultimately leading him into the mental health field.
James has experience supporting individuals facing serious mental health challenges, trauma, emotional distress, and difficult life circumstances. His therapeutic approach focuses on helping clients better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, and move through life’s obstacles with greater clarity and confidence.
His clinical approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and the Community Resiliency Model (CRM).
James is committed to providing a thoughtful, supportive, and client-centered environment where individuals feel safe exploring growth, healing, and meaningful change.
